1. Click on the Trade-in Program Banner found on most GPU product pages.

2. Enter your trade-in information such as series, brand, and model.

3. Instantly view your estimated trade-in value based on your inputs.

4. Click “Done” and add your New GPU to your cart, and you will see your trade-in GPU has also been added.

5. Once you complete the checkout process, we will email you a prepaid shipping label to use when sending us your trade-in.

6. Send in your trade-in within 14 days from when you received your shipping label.

7. When Newegg receives the trade-in, we will review it and inform you of the acceptance or rejection of the trade-in via email.

8. If the trade-in is approved, we will issue a refund back to your original payment method for the new GPU order. In some cases, the refund will be issued as a Newegg Gift Card.

9. If the trade-in is rejected, we will send the trade-in GPU back to you for free.

If your GPU does not meet our approval criteria, we’ll inform you via email and return your device for free, subject to certain conditions.

Approval requirements include, but are not limited to, overall trade-in functionality, physical damage, authenticity, and more.

You will receive credit for your trade-in item via a refund to your original payment method or in the form of a Newegg gift card.
If your trade-in device is rejected, your order will be cancelled, and your device will be sent back to your return address.

You’ll receive email notifications at each stage of the trade-in process, keeping you informed from initiation to completion. You can also check the status within your Newegg account.

Many GPUs are eligible for trade-in credit or a Newegg Gift Card. Our trade-in submission form will display a list of eligible GPUs based on chipset, series, and brand. You must pick the correct model number, or we will not be able to process your trade-in.

All major credit and debit cards are accepted for trade-in orders. We do not currently accept – Zip, Affirm, PayPal, or Newegg Store Credit Card.

It depends on the chipset, series, brand, and model # you select. Answer a few questions accurately, and once we receive the GPU within the specified time frame and verify its condition, you’ll most likely receive the full amount of the estimated trade-in value.

Keep in mind that you need to ship your trade-in device within 14 days of when you place your trade-in order.

Generally it takes 10-15 business days from the time we receive your trade-in. The sooner we receive your trade-in, the sooner we can verify its condition and process your credit or gift card. After approval, it may take anywhere from 3-5 business days for the credit to be processed.

Follow the drop off instructions in the email we send you. It will include details provided by our shipping partner on shipping guidelines to ensure a smooth delivery.

We will email you at each major step to keep you updated. You can also check under My Account - >Trade-In Orders.

If you haven’t shipped your device yet, you can cancel your trade-in by simply keeping your device.

If you have already sent us your device, the trade-in can’t be cancelled.

The Program is available to customers with a valid address in the United States (excluding territories). We cannot accept trade-ins from addresses outside of the United States.

There is a limit of 1 device per trade-in order.

Print the prepaid shipping label and pack your trade-in item securely in a box with padding to prevent any damage from occurring in transit. You can drop off your packaged trade-in item at a UPS store or eligible UPS drop-off point.

An attachment to print a free pre-paid shipping label will be provided in your confirmation email. There are no fees. If a trade-in item is not accepted and is returned, there is no cost for return shipping.

You can re-print a shipping label by going to My Trade-in Orders and clicking the button on the trade-in order to print the label.
